Purple Up! for Military Kids

April has been designated as the Month of the Military Child. The Commonwealth is home to more than 70,000 school age, military-connected children. These military families in Virginia include men and women on active duty service in every branch of the military – Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and members of the National Guard. Purple represents the blending of all of these branches and we are so proud of these families and wear our purple in support.
Thank you Secretary Hopkins, Deputy Secretary Jabs, and Assistant Secretary Frazier for joining our staff at DOE as we all Purple Up! for Military Kids.
