Learning Needs Dashboard
The Learning Needs Dashboard provides detailed reports on the performance of students, schools and school divisions on state assessments from 2017 through 2022. This public-facing data-visualization tool will help teachers, administrators, parents and communities compare performance and better understand students’ learning needs.
College Lab School Planning Grants
Applications and guidelines for College Partnership Laboratory School planning grants are now available. Planning grants support initial short-term costs associated with designing new lab schools.
Stay Informed with TeacherDirect
TeacherDirect provides a direct line of communication with classroom teachers and educators. TeacherDirect includes information about new instructional resources created by VDOE staff as well as professional development, grant opportunities, and other information of special interest to teachers and their students.
Child Care VA
ChildCareVA.com provides a comprehensive repository of resources and information to make choosing safe, quality child care easier for parents. ChildCareVA also exists to inform caretakers about the benefits of becoming a licensed child care provider or subsidy provider, and keep current providers up-to- date on the latest news and requirements.
School Quality Profiles
Virginia’s School Quality Profiles
provide information about accreditation, student achievement, college and career readiness, program completion, school safety, teacher quality and other topics of interest to parents and the general public. School Quality Profile reports are available for schools, school divisions and for the commonwealth.
